Kooshlie
Taken from the Norwegian word “Koselig”, meaning ‘Cosy’. These slippers are everything they aim to be, with soft and thick woolly garter stitch textured uppers, sewn onto a pair of felted soles and topped off with large, shaggy pompoms. For added grip, liquid latex is painted onto the base of each sole (optional).
Available in 7 Adult sizes:

Yarn & Quantity
Main Yarn examples: Heathered Chunky (super bulky weight, 100% Wool, 60 yds / 55 m, per 100g) by Vidalana; or Naturally Soft Super Chunky by MillaMia (Merino, 55m per 100g).
XS: 88 yds (110 m) / S: 111 yds (139 m) / M: 120 yds (150 m) / L: 133 yds (166 m) / 1XL: 144 yds (179 m) / 2XL: 164 yds (204 m) / 3XL: 183 yds (229 m).
Contrast Yarn: 20g (30 yds / 27 m) approx. of any DK weight yarn for the pompoms and for sewing on the soles.
Tools
8 mm (US 11) (or size required to get gauge) needles; 2 Stitch markers; 12 cm (4.75”) diameter Pompom maker; Tapestry needle; Sharp scissors & Measuring tape; 1 pair (or 2 pairs) of Felted slipper soles and Liquid latex fluid for grip (optional).
