The sweet rows of roofs are peeking out from the legs of the Kotikylä socks (Kotikylä means hometown in English). The stars are twinkling in the sky and warm light is shining from the windows.

Socks are knitted from cuff down and the pattern is written for the Magic Loop technique, but it is also suitable for knitting with double pointed needles. The heel is worked with a French heel flap and gusset with instructions for a reinforced heel flap. Easy colorwork in the leg is so simple that this pattern is also suitable for beginners.

Since the Mondim yarn used in the sample socks is 100% wool, the socks are knitted with a tight gauge so that they are more durable.
