A couple of days ago I published the “Kriss Kross cowl” pattern. Well, I loved wearing it so much, that I thought I need to have a matching hat. Well here it is and I tell you I adore them both and I hope that you will too.

There is nothing like feeling comfy in the winter, is there. Both the the cowl and hat show off a lovely crossed lace pattern and both are keeping you wonderfully warm and cozy this winter.
The patterns are both fully written and also offer a chart.
The small sized hat measures 19” around the brim and the large size 23.5”. The middle body of each size is a bit wider.

Yarn
A single Speckled cake, 108 yards/100 grams in a bulky weight speckled washable acrylic yarn for either size.

Notions needed
US size 10 (6 mm) circular needle 16” (41 cm) in length.
One stitch marker.
Tapestry needle for finishing.

Gauge
8 sts and 14 rows in 4” of stockinette stitch.

Techniques applied
Knitting, purling, knitting stitches together slipping stitches, decreasing, weaving in ends.
