From the pattern:
When I was a little girl we had a Lyre Flower in the garden. I can remember how my older sister, Kristin, and I admired the beautiful plant…
These mittens have a feminine look and the cuff gives them an extra touch. They fit snugly around the wrist thanks to the twisted rib between the cuff and the hand.

The pattern is both available in English and Norwegian. You will receive both versions when you purchase the pattern.
For the English pattern choose: KristinsLyreFlowerMittens_EN.pdf.
For the Norwegian pattern choose: KristinsLoytnantshjerterVotter_NO.pdf.

To knit these mittens you will need, in addition to the pattern, 2 skeins Ask Hifa 2 (from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk), or similar fingering weight yarn, in 2 different colors. And you will need knitting needles US 1 (2.25mm) or size to obtain gauge.
