Kruna hat is a super chic and classy every-day beanie meant to give some contrast and softness to your urban outfit. Kruna has got its name after Kruununhaka area here in Helsinki that is made of old buildings. They have been standing there more than a century, and the timeless design of Kruna hat supports the sustainability of hand-made knitwears. The hat is made of merino strands held double together with a silk mohair yarn to keep the shape.

WHAT YOU NEED
Yarn: 110 g of Sandnes Garn Sunday (100 % merino - 50 g / 235 m), color beige (Kardemomme 3821) and 35 g Isager Silk Mohair (75% kid mohair, 25% silk – 25 g / 212 m), color beige (6).
The hat is worked holding together 2 strands of base yarn and 1 strand of silk mohair.
Needles: 3.25 mm (US3) circular needle (40 cm / 16”), 3.5 mm (US4) circular needle (40 cm / 16”) ja and DPNs for the crown.
Notions: Cable needle, tapestry needle.
Gauge: 26 sts x 29 rnds = 10 x 10 cm of ribbing using 3.25 mm (US4) needle.
