Kuglelyn is the Danish word for ‘Ball lightning’. Kuglelyn is a crescent shaped shawl worked in one piece from the top down in 2 colors. Kuglelyn will drape gracefully around the shoulders and keeps in place without a pin.

Work this shawl in one piece top down with yarn in 2 colors.

The pattern includes directions for knitting this shawl in two sizes. (Width: 175 (200) centimeters, Height: 53 (60) centimeters).

The pattern is written for a knitter who is able to, follow written instructions (no charts included).

This pattern calls for a yarn with a yardage of approximately 300 meters per 100 grams. The shawl pictured is worked in hand dyed 100% merino (Merino 300) from Chester Wool Company - hand dyed with birch leaves, walnut and indigo.
