Kuldi is a seamless Icelandic-style sweater for children, worked from the bottom up with a stranded-colorwork circular yoke.

The body and sleeves are knitted separately in the round, then joined for the yoke. The underarm stitches are finished with a Kitchener stitch, so no additional sewing is required.

The updated pattern includes five sizes and fully revised instructions, with clearer sleeve shaping, underarm construction, neckline ribbing and an improved colorwork chart.

SIZES: 4 (6, 8, 10, 12) years

TO FIT CHEST: 56 (60, 64, 68, 72) cm22 (23½, 25¼, 26¾, 28¼) in

FINISHED CHEST: 62.5 (67.5, 72.5, 77.5, 82.5) cm24½ (26½, 28½, 30½, 32½) in

The sweater is designed with comfortable positive ease. Choose a size primarily according to the child’s chest measurement rather than age. Body and sleeve lengths can easily be adjusted.
