Golden leaves all around us, the crisp mornings are starting to make my toes feel it: winter will soon be here. I love to feel the morning air on my face, knowing that it will be quite a while before we see green trees again.

Kultaniitty Socks are worked from toe up, with a garter stitch short row heel and a lovely, easy-to-memorize lace pattern floating from foot to leg.

MATERIALS
Yarn: 1 (1, 1) skein of Kimo by Laurel Knits, colorway Fields of Gold. Approx. 350 (380, 410) yds / 320 (350, 375) m of fingering weight yarn.

Needles: US 1½ (2.5 mm) and US 0 (2 mm) dpns or circular needles, if you are using magic loop technique for small circumference knitting.

SIZING
1 (2, 3)
Finished Circumference of the Foot and of the Leg of the Sock: 7 (8, 9)” / 18 (20, 23) cm. Choose a size with 0-1” (0-2.5 cm) of negative ease.
