Kumo Headband
Kumo Headband is a simple and soft headband knit with three strand of mohair held together. It’s knit in double knitting, which creates a double-layered fabric, and gives it an even finish on both sides.
It’s also a lovely project for stash busting, since it only uses 20 g of mohair (less than 1 skein).
The following techniques are used: Italian cast on, double knitting, increases and decreases, kitchener stitch with open stitches.
Kumo headband is knit by working the first tie. Then increases are worked, and the band is knit. Decreases are worked, followed by the second tie. Finally, stitches are cast off using the kitchener stitch.
