This ethnographic mitten is from the Nica region of the District of Kurzeme. Four to seven colors are used contemporeanously in both the cuff and the upper mitten. The mittens from Nica are typically quite colorful and use complex charts.
Changes in yarn or needles may produce changes in the size of the mittens. Check your gauge before casting on.
