Kylemore wrap is a rectangular wrap, featuring lace borders.

The wrap is knit flat, beginning with simple large lace motifs, suitable for beginning lace knitters. The bulk of the wrap consists of stocking (stockinette) stitch punctuated by columns of eyelets, with buttonholes along one side. The wrap is then finished with further lace borders.

Kylemore Wrap is versatile and can be worn as a poncho, or unbuttoned as a wrap or large scarf.
The wrap is knit in Studio Donegal’s Darnie; a fingering weight lambswool yarn that gives warmth without bulk.

The lace arches are inspired by the pointed arches of the neo-Gothic church at Kylemore Abbey for which the pattern is named.
