La Payet Jacket is a cardigan worked flat from the bottom up in pieces (back, two front pieces and two sleeves). Pieces are then seamed.

Feza Alp Dazzle is a monochromatic, worsted weight, multi-fiber yarn that stripes in different textures as you knit with it. Different novelty yarns, threads and ribbons are hand-knotted together to create unique textures of the same color. As you knit, the fibers gradually change. Alp Premier is the multi-colored version of the same yarn.

Due to the unique construction of this yarn, there are small knots where fibers are hand tied together. They are worked right into your project.

This yarn also gives you the opportunity to cut the piece you want / do not want to use or match the start of each piece with the same type of yarn. The same type of yarn usually comes in the skein twice. Alp Dazzle Color 522 I used for the sample started with a furry thread, so I decided to use that furry texture at the beginning of the back, front and sleeve pieces. So, when I came to the furry section in the yarn, I simply cut that piece and saved it for the beginning of the next piece.

Feza Alp Begila is a yarn made mainly from breathable Tencel and it has a metallic look. This yarn is available in both solid and multi-colors in Turkey. However you can substitute any yarn which gives the appropriate gauge. If you look a shiny metallic look like the one in the samples, I recommend you to choose a metallic shiny yarn.

Materials used in the sample:
MC - Alp Dazzle or Premier by Feza Yarns - 3 skeins (3, 4, 4)
CC1 - Alp Begila 5 balls (6, 7, 8)
CC2 - Alp Begila 1 ball (1, 1, 1)- CC2 was used for ribbing around the neck and front of the jacket.
Sample Colors: Alp Dazzle 522 (https://www.orgutopya.com/ip-alp-dazzle-610), Begila Multi-color A (https://www.orgutopya.com/ip-begila-1836) and Begila Solid- Color F-Navy Blue (https://www.orgutopya.com/ip-begila-1958).
Alp Dazzle- 65% Nylon, 10% Cotton, 10% Viscose, 5% Wool, 5% Acrylic, 5% Metallic, Worsted Weight - Hand Tied, 210 yds - 100 gr
Alp Begila- 67% Tencel, 33% Polyamide, Worsted Weight, 137 yds – 50 gr.

Gauge:
19 sts x 28-32 rows = 4”/10 cm square in plaid pattern after blocking using both MC and CC (gauge differs depending on the type of thread of Alp Dazzle yarn, so I gave a range of 28-32 rows here).
