This ribbed hat can be knitted in any Chunky knit yarn, but I have used 1 ball King Cole Big Value Poplar Chunky in Rosewood 100g (150m) and is designed to fit most adults approx. 23in or 58cm head circumference.

Materials required

1 ball King Cole Big Value Poplar Chunky in Rosewood 100g

6mm (40cm) circular knitting needles – or a set of 6mm double pointed needles

8mm (40cm) circular needles

A set of 4 8mm double pointed needles (DPNs)

Tapestry needle to weave in ends
