L’abbaye cowl
A geometric colourwork cowl, with a repetitive pattern. A relaxing knit with enough to keep your interest
It uses 4 ply, fingering weight yarns.
I used 60gms of the coral colour and 40gms of brown, along with 25gms each of cream and teal - so you could go stash diving.
My inspiration for this pattern came from the beautiful architecture of the buildings in Normandy and I wanted to use s local yarn with heritage and a story.
Finished sizing 60cm wide and 38cm in length.
Knitted in the round using 3.5mm circular needles, 24in tip to tip in length.
It is available to purchase as a single pattern and part of a kit from Northern Yarn.
