Lace Hat is designed for babies and toddlers and features an allover lace pattern with eyelets. The hat is worked from the bottom up using 1 strand of Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk. The lace pattern is charted only and each size has its own chart.

You start working the hat back and forth in order to shape the earflaps with German short rows. Afterwards, work is continued in the round following the chart. After the hat is finished, you pick up stitches from each earflap and work the two i-cord ties.

Lace Hat can be knit up in a wool yarn for winter use or a silk or cotton-mix for spring and summer use.
