From description:

The Lace Scarf presented here starts in an unusual manner. Rather than starting at one end of the scarf and knitting to the other end, use a provisional cast on to start in the middle or back of neck. When one side is completed, remove the provisional cast on, pick up stitches, adn then repeat the pattern for the other side of the scarf. Repeat the simple leaf pattern over and over until you have achieved the desired length. Then shape the points. This method creates a seamless scarf.
