This ribbed beanie features a split brim and a panel of eyelets that can be laced up like a corset. It’s a fun and unique hat to make and wear.

The hat is knit on circular needles, as the main part of the hat and crown are knit in the round, to eliminate the need for seaming.

The hat in the photos was made from Cascade 220 yarn in the color Silver Gray. The laces were crocheted from some Misti Alpaca Tonos yarn (colorway Grinch Green) I had in my stash.
