The laced up shorts are cozy and perfect for cold summer evenings or winter days by the fireplace. The shorts have slits on both sides, size of the slits is adjustable. The slits are laced up with ribbon, same ribbon is used in the waist ribbing to hold the shorts in place.

The pattern uses US terminology and abbreviations. The pattern is begginer friendly, stitches needed to know for this pattern are: chain, half double crochet, slip stitch and double croche. Other stitches will be explained in the pattern.

Materials needed:
size 6 chenille yarn (at least 200 grams, depends on the size)
4mm hook
2 stitch markers
darning needle
ribbon (at least 3 meters)
thin elastic (highly recommended, but not necessary)
sewing needle (if you are using the elastic)
