Lacery includes instructions for 3 sizes and begins with a classic wedge toe worked from the toe up. When I have a richly hued variegated yarn I like to pair it with a lace pattern. The vibrant stockinette serves as the perfect palette for the delicate lace openings. Lacery’s heel features a slip stitch heel flap combining two favorites – toe up construction and the classic heel. To complement the lace design, the back of the leg is worked in a lacy rib. Lacery is finished off with a bind off I call the “Stretchy Picot Bind Off”. This technique will give a ruffled look to the cuff of your sock.

Originally knit in Zitron Trekking Hand Art.

Lacery was the 5th sock in the 20 years of Trekking Knit Along series.
