This lace top uses an openwork diamond lace pattern on the body and moss stitch detail on the yoke. With elbow length sleeves and deep v-neckline, the top has an added detail from the ribbon which extends all the way around the garment at the bustline and at the sleeve cuff. This garment is perfect for spring and autumn wear; as it’s warm enough for the cooler evenings whilst the openwork lace, short sleeves and v neckline make it highly adaptable. Knitted in 4 ply. The instructions are given for the garment to be knitted in the round from the bottom of the garment to the armhole, then knitted flat for the remainder of the garment from the bust to the shoulder. The sleeves are also knitted in the round, however, should you wish, you can knit this garment flat; knitting back and front separately, by halving the stitch count given for the body of the garment. The blouson style fit of this garment, reminiscent of the 1930s silhouette, is flattering and easy to wear.
