The Laceylea Vest is a beautifully elegant garment knitted from high-quality rustic sheep’s wool, shown here in its natural white colour. It’s the perfect layering piece for any season. It is knitted bottom up until it is divided for front and back and knitted flat. In the end stitches are picked up around the neckline and armholes to create the borders. It features a mixture of charted and written instructions. The level of the pattern is rather advanced.

4.5mm circular needles

Swatch in the lace pattern: with 4.5mm needles cast on 25 sts, p the first st, work the 6 set up rows and rows 1-26 of Chart A.
24sts x 32rows = 10cm x 11cm (measured in the very centre), washed and blocked.
