Materials and tools for crocheting:

4-ply sport weight yarn (amounts are approximate), 1 skein = 50 grams:
Colors :
2 oz (55g) or more of main color ( i used light-yellow #88)
small amount of addition color for cords (optional)
I used: YarnArt Jeans (55% cotton + 45% Acrylic), 174 yards (160m), 1.76 Oz (50 g)

Yarn consumption can increase up to 1.5 times when crocheting with yarn over (YO) way. And the toy will have a bigger size.

Hook size 2 mm (or other suitable for the yarn).
Blunt-ended yarn needle.
Scissors or yarn snips.
Polyester stuffing.
Wooden stick for stuffing (optional).
Stitch markers (4 pieces, optional).
