This very light weight shawl is a nice accessory for summer evenings. Bands of garter stripes alternate with easy lace patters worked in mohair. The whole piece weighs less than 125 g and the special construction avoids infinitely long rows to be worked.

Main color: 1 skein of Lismi Knits Merino Singles (100 % Merino) 394 yards 360 meters/ 100 g) or equal
amount of fingering weight yarn.

Contrasting color: 1 skein of Debbi Bliss Angel (76% Mohair, 24% Silk) 219 yards 200 meters/25 g or equal amount of lace weight yarn.

The sample uses Debbie Bliss Angel in Charcoal and Lismi Knits Merino Singles in Seafoam.
I had about 6.5 g (25 yards/23 meters) of the main color and 1.7 g (14 yards/13 meters) of the contrasting color left with the given gauge.

Needles:
2x US 6/ 4 mm 32” circular needles (or two cables and one set of needle tips of an interchangeable needle set in the
given size).

Other Notions:
Tapestry needle, stitch marker

The pattern includes a schematic for the construction.
