Eyelets add a soft texture and timeless elegance to the knitted fabric of the Lacy Lakes Bias Scarf. Using a soft merino wool blended with cashmere and nylon creates a luxurious, versatile fabric that begs to be worn next to the skin. Embrace this enduring style while learning the basics of machine-knit lace.

In this scarf pattern, eyelets were incorporated into the edge increases and decreases on both sides for the entire length of the scarf. The eyelets were also extended across the entire row, every 12 rows, to visually emphasize the bias nature of the fabric. This scarf was also wet blocked and pinned to open up the eyelets, flatten the edges, and help shape the angles on the ends of the scarf.
