Lacy Maple Seed is a laceweight variation on the Flight of the Maple Seed shawl I designed for the Dream in Color Dream Club September 2014 installment. I’ve adapted the pattern for a lighter-weight yarn, like the Neighborhood Fiber Co. Capital Luxury Lace I’ve used for my sample.

The large, uncluttered eyelet pattern works well with variegated yarns. The sample is knit in Aurora Australis, a limited-edition colorway from Neighborhood Fiber Co.

The lace pattern is both written and charted. It’s a good first lace pattern!
