This is the perfect pattern if you want to practice your lace patterns before knitting a really complicated shawl. When you are done, tack it to the back of an old picture frame and you have a beautiful earring holder!

I have included 4 stitch patterns. You can knit just one, or all of them. Create your own piece of art!

You will need approximately 25 grams of DK weight yarn. I used Elsebeth Lavold’s Hempathy. If you choose to use beads, you will need approximately 50–60 size 6 beads and a small crochet hook.

Gauge isn’t really important—just find a frame to fit. For the pattern I used an 8 x 10 frame.
