This is a pattern for a crochet scarf, made with worsted weight (category 4), 100% acrylic yarn and size H (5 MM) hook.

I made this scarf with Soft and Shiny yarn by Loops & Threads. I used one skein of this yarn (285 yards), and my scarf came out 44 inches long and 8 inches wide. It ties nicely around neck and looks like a cowl. If you would like to make you scarf longer, simply keep crocheting until your desired length is reached (but of course you will need more yarn).

The skill level for this scarf is beginner. There is only one repeating row in the pattern, which is very easy to remember. The scarf can easily me made longer/shorter or wider (the multiple for the stitch is included in the patter).

The pattern is written in English using the US crochet terminology.
