The SKEINO Lacy Scarf is a 2-yarn piece and a dream to knit. Two different yarns are knitted in Garter Stitch with many yarn overs for the lace effect. One of them is a brushed Baby Alpaca yarn and the other one is a Fine Merino yarn (BIANCA lace yarn). You will knit the scarf 3-stranded, 1 Baby Alpaca and 2 Merino. After winding the yarn into a ball you can easily double the merino yarn by using the outside and the inside end. The feel of the knitted piece is unbelievable soft. The brushed Baby Alpaca will hug your neck and it will also fill the openings so that the yarn will not move.

This is an easy project. You will need to make yarn overs in the first row. In the second row you will drop the yarn overs to create the openings.

Straight short needles, US #10 (6 mm) are being used for this scarf.
You can choose to turn the scarf into a wrap by casting on more stitches, which will make the piece wider and shorter. The patterns will tell you the difference.

The crochet edge from the merino (four-stranded) gives the Scarf a wonderful finishing touch.
