Looking for the perfect slouch hat? You’ve found it! Crochet a sophisticated hat using a creamy yarn and faux fur pompom or make a playful slouch hat with a self-striping yarn.

Download the FREE crochet pattern to print today, and you’ll be ready to wear your new hat within an hour or two! To make the Lacy Crochet Slouch Hat, you’ll need one skein of worsted weight yarn of at least 125 yards. I used Lion Brand Heartland Yarn in Acadia for the cream hat, Cascade 220 in Jet for the dark grey version and Crystal Palace Taos yarn (discontinued) for the striped version. To substitute, choose another worsted weight yarn with lots of drape like Madeline Tosh Vintage yarn or Caron’s Simply Soft. If you want to make a self-striping hat like the version I made with the Taos yarn, select a yarn with a longer color change.
