For gauge, make a swatch using the shoulder strap pattern of 6 rows with suggested hook for your size.
The 6-row sample should measure:
Size S/M: with 4.5mm hook, strap should be 3 ¾” (10 cm) long
Size L: with 5mm hook, strap should be 4 ¼ ” (11 cm) long
Size XL: with 6mm hook, strap should be 4 ¾” (12 cm) long
Size XXL: with 7mm hook strap should be 5” (13.5 cm) long
If necessary, adjust hook size to achieve correct strap length.
