This quick ‘n easy Dropped-Stitch Ladder Poncho pattern makes up into an elegant unforgettable showpiece to your wardrobe. It can be worn with the ends in the front and back, as pictured, or to the sides as a shawlet that drapes beautifully. Knit in ribbed stitch, the magic of the open weave happens on the bind-off row when you intentionally drop a stitch and let it run down to the cast-on edge. Directions for knitting two panels which are then sewn together make this a weekend project to knit and wear. This is a beautiful but practical piece that will dazzle those around you.
