The Ladder Stitch, which is created by dropping stitches, makes for a lightweight yet warm finished cowl. I’m not usually a fan of knitting our yarns too tightly because the finished result can be too heavy and all the trims in our yarn can get lost. The loose, open stitch of this pattern shows off the yarn beautifully. You’re able to see more of the yarn’s color and texture details when it’s knit this way too.

We give you two pattern options, option 1 will wrap once around your neck and only need one skein of yarn (approx 30-35 yds). Option 2 calls for 2 skeins of our yarn (60-70 yds) and will wrap around your neck voluminously twice.
