Circular Cardigan in Chunky Knit

Oh Alice! Loved by everyone. This delightfully simple shape manages to make anyone look elegant. It’s a cardigan made to fit and flatter just about everyone. Knitted in four simple pieces; a circle body, with an oblong panel fitted in the back and the sleeves slipped in-between the two. It’s a beautifully shaped and fitted garment and it just couldn’t be simpler to knit. The body and back panel are knitted in garter stitch but I’ve made the sleeves in stocking stitch because I wanted to make the garment look longer and slimmer. Garter stitch sleeves are just as attractive, it’s just a matter of preference. The fabric edging is optional of course. Here it is knitted in one of my favourite yarns, Shetland Marl by Jamieson’s, the colours used are Oceanic and Woodnymph; the fabric is by Kaffe Fassett.
