This knitting pattern gives full details on how to knit this braided cable hat. It is knitted on 2 straight needles, and the back seam requires to be sewn up after the item is finished.

The faux fur pom pom requires to be purchased, but is readily available from many online retailers. I purchase detachable pom poms which can be detached when the hat requires laundering.
