Ladies loose fitting, mid thigh length top. The garment has lantern sleeves and rolled hems. The circular yoke is knitted in one piece, with feature short row segments, and a lowered front neckline. The garment could easily be made longer to produce a dress or overtop.
The garment was knitted in fine 3 ply yarn, at tension setting 2 which gave 29.5 stitches and 56.5 rows to 10cm. Any 2 or 3 ply yarn can be substituted providing the tension is matched. The garment lends itself well to yarns which press and drape well. A Brother 950i electronic with separate lace carriage was used, however any machine could be used, and ANY suitable alternative lace patterns could be substituted.
