Gauge:
22 sts and 31 rnds over 4”/ 10cm in Stockinette stitch. Be sure to wash and block your swatch to verify that the gauge matches. If substituting yarn, make sure your washed and blocked gauge matches the given gauge. If the pre-washed/ pre-blocked gauge is slightly different, that is okay as long as the washed and blocked gauge matches. Row gauge is important in this design!

Special Notes:

  • Bias construction and elegant shaping come together in Ladies Night Out to create a lightweight a long-sleeved top (or tank top) that you’ll wear again and again.

  • It’s important to note that blocked row gauge is important to achieving the same fit as seen in the sample. When in doubt, be sure to refer to the schematic on back page and adjust to match your blocked gauge.

  • Because Row gauge is important for a proper fit, you may find it helpful to use locking markers or scrap yarn to indicate fixed row increments (I like marking every 10 rows).

  • For easy size navigation, the pattern is color coded. Complete stitch counts row by row provided in the Cheat Sheet on pages 6-9. Check out the Knit Eco Chic channel on You Tube for a video demonstration of the sleeve cap short rows and a video demonstration of the optional straps.
