Closely fitted, ribbed, opera-length fingerless gloves with a renaissance flair. Knitted top down these gloves are stretchy! They should stretch to fit almost anyone and are easily adapted to your specific length requirement. Be sure to try them on as you go to get the perfect length. Knit in a modern color palette these gloves would handily accent a short sleeved coat or sweater for that extra touch of elegance and warmth.

Knit inside-out in one piece with size 0 and size 3 needles. Puffs are made in reverse stockinette by knitting them from the wrong side.
(measurements do not include puffs)
Finished length ~ 18.5 ” unstretched
Widest circumference ~ 9” unstretched (around upper arm)
Smallest circumference ~3.5” unstretched (around hand above thumb)

Materials
Set of 5 US size 0/2mm DPNs • Size US 3/3.25mm 16” circular needle
600 yards of Knit Picks Gloss Lace Yarn (2 Skeins) in Dandelion, Ultramarine or Sterling and 1 package Dritz Oval Cord Elastic (2.5 yards)

Gauge
12 stitches equal 1in in 2x2 rib on US 0/2mm
Note: This is with the ribbing slightly stretched as it would be when worn.
8 stitches equal 1in in stockinette stitch on US 3/3.25mm
Gauge isn’t crucial with this project due to the stretchy nature of the ribbing and the elastic ties but will obviously affect the finished product.
