Pay What You Choose: In the interest of making my patterns financially accessible to all knitters while still honouring the time and work that went into creating them, I’m including ‘Pay What You Choose’ tiered pricing for my patterns. You may notice an increase in the baseline price; that is because I believe it represents a fair amount of compensation for my time and craft. If you can afford the full price, I am glad; if you cannot, please choose a price you are willing to pay, no questions asked. Tiered pricing works on the honour system and I will never know your financial ability, but I would very much like designing knitting patterns to be sustainable for me. Here is a list of the coupon codes and the discounts they represent:
No Code: $8.00 CAD

Orchestra: 10% off

BoxSeats: 20% off

Mezzanine: 30% off

Lady Nufashond, the third piece in my Garters and Lace collection, is a cute, slouchy garter hat with an envelope crown (no decreases!) and a sneaky lace panel ‘pouring’ out of the tuck. Perfect if you’re looking for a quick, elegant accessory to knit!

To knit this hat, you will need:
Approximately 167 metres/182 yards - 238 metres/260 yards DK weight yarn
4 mm circular needles with a 40 cm/16 inch cable (size 6 US)
1 4 mm double-pointed needle (size 6 US) if doing three-needle bind off
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle

Gauge:
24 sts = 10 cm/4 inches in garter stitch (definitely after blocking. Please block this gauge swatch, mine grew a LOT)

Sizes:
XS 47 cm/18 inches, S 51 cm/20 inches, M 56 cm/22 inches, L 61 cm/24 inches
Sizes are finished hat circumference blocked and unstretched, and are meant to be worn with about 5 cm/2 inches negative ease. Hat is 8 inches tall, meant to be slouchy.

Required Skills:
knit, purl, yarn over, left- and right-leaning decreases, kitchener stitch or three-needle bind off

Notes:
The required skills are written into the instructions except for Tubular cast on which can be found here: https://youtu.be/89Zoz0FKQg0
