Classic Setesdal Cardigan. Children’s sizing also available.

Six adult sizes to fit 34-44 inch (86-112 cm) bust or chest measurement.
Three children’s sizes to fit sizes 8, 10/12, and 14.

Separate directions are given to knit this sweater flat in pieces or in the round with steeks. There are charts for the colorwork. Seven buttons are required. Yardage is for both colors. You will need 13-16 balls of the main color and 4-6 of the accent color for an adult-sized sweater. For a child-sized sweater, you will need 10-13 balls of the main color and 3-4 balls of the accent color.

This vintage Dover Press book was published in 1974 as a revision of an earlier (1966) Norwegian book “Knit It Yourself”. The directions are aimed for the British market with old British needles sizes used in the descriptive part of the directions although US sizes are listed in the requirements section.
