The Laere cowl is a simple knit with a dash of color added along the edges as an attached i-cord. The main body of the cowl is worked in the round using an easy-to-memorize slip stitch pattern. There is no purling at any point in the pattern.

This pattern works up quickly in worsted weight yarn and would look great using two contrasting solid colors, or a solid color for the body of the cowl and a variegated contrasting color.
