♫ The Music ♫
Like so many Celtic tunes, My Lagan Love has many stories attached to its origins that wind and intertwine almost as much as the river in the title.

A cabled, V-neck vest knit from the bottom up, Lagan is worked in the round to the armholes, then the front and back are worked separately to the shoulders. The shoulder seams are sewn together and the edgings are knit onto the armhole and neckline edges.

The pattern includes 10 sizes. The cable pattern is worked on the front and back with additional cables worked for larger sizes for a perfectly balanced look; the sides are worked in Stockinette stitch.

Knitters must be able to identify knit and purl stitches when working incomplete cables and binding off the ribbing. Knitters must also be able to decrease over a given number of stitches.

Both charts and written directions for charts are included.

Left and right fronts and shoulders refer to the garment as it is worn.
