Worked from the bottom up this easy to wear sweater creates unique wave like patterns using a variagated yarn and drop stitch short row sections at the hips. Sleeves and shoulders are entirely shaped using short rows.

Size 40 1/2” (103cm) modelled with 6” (15cm) of positive ease.

Yarn

6 (7, 8, 8, 9, 10, 10, 11, 12) skeins Noro ‘Kirara’, 51% wool, 29% cotton, 10% silk, 10% angora, 1.76oz (50g), 164yds (150m), Color, 10.

Needles & Notions
1 US size 7 (4.5mm) circular needle, 32” (80cm) length or longer for bigger sizes
1 US size 7 (4.5mm) circular needle, 40” (100cm) length
Adjust needle size as necessary to achieve gauge.
Lockable stitch markers; stitch holders or waste yarn, US size 7 (4.5mm) crochet hook, tapestry needle.

Gauge
17 stitches and 28 rows = 4” (10cm) in stockinette stitch blocked.
17 stitches and 36 rows = 4” (10cm) in garter stitch blocked.

Errata:
After the second second drop-stitch wedge work 8 rnds of garter stitch before working the stockinette stitch short rows.
