This lovely cable lace scarf contains two distinct stitches. The focal stitch is a unique cable stitch that is surrounded and offset by lovely and rarely seen cable stitch. Together they make a very distinct and beautiful scarf. Both stitches comes to us from Japan, but all symbols have been “translated” to the ones more commonly used in Western knitting.

Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming a good working knowledge of knitting, purling, cabling and working with patterns).

This pattern is both charted and written out line by line.

The yarn used in the sample is Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport yarn, in colorway, Naperville.

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged.

The scarf was expertly test knitted Rachel McKinney a.k.a., 100creations who can be contacted at: 100creations@gmail.com.
