This design is inspired by my favorite book, Anne of Green Gables. Simple but striking 3-stitch cables flow gracefully over this asymmetric shawl, bringing to memory Anne’s endearing name for the pond near the Cuthbert farm… “Lake of Shining Waters”.

All increases for this shawl happen at the end of every right side row with simple yarn overs. The yarn overs are then worked through the back loop on the wrong side to make them invisible.
