Lake Point is a tiny little town on the southern end of the Great Salt Lake. It is prone to cloudy skies, strong breezes, and the smell of the salt air - the perfect place to wear a light, lovely shawl around your shoulders.

Lake Point is designed with a sock set in mind. I have so many beautiful sock sets in my stash that I want to showcase in more than just socks! It is constructed by working the body from the top down in a crescent shape. The contrast mini skein is used to add a delicate lace border that is knitted on to finish it up.

Yarn: MC - 400yds/365m to 100 grams of fingering weight yarn. CC - 80 yards/73m to 20 grams. Shown in the Shop Girl sock set from Yarnbrary.

Gauge: 19 sts and 27 rows in diamond lace stitch pattern to 4 in/ 10 cm square. Gauge is not crucial for this project but differences in gauge will affect finished measurements and change yarn requirements. I used 90 total grams of the MC and 19 total grams of the CC at this gauge.
