The Lake Ridge Hat features a beautiful simple cable that is easy to memorize and fun to work. This is a great pattern for any skill level. If you’ve been thinking of giving cables a try, this is a great project for you! This hat is knit in a slightly loose gauge for a little bit of slouch at the crown. This is a quick knit and can be finished in a couple hours.

Yarn:
Hole in the Wool Yarns, Grand Bulky (100% superwash Merino, 100g, 106 yards). One skein needed for project. Sample is shown in colorway Duke.

Gauge:
12 stitches x 16 rows = 4”/10 cm after blocking using US 11 needles

A note for those who purchased the printed pattern at the Great Basin Fiber Arts Fair. There is a typo in round 5 of the hat body. It should read: K2, RC, K4, P2, K1TBL, P2
