I designed these socks for my husband to match the hat I made for him for Valentine’s Day in 2017 (Lake Beanie). The intention was for him to wear at our wedding in October (but ended up finishing them on the honeymoon instead.)

These sock feature the same cable pattern as the hat and will look good in a striping yarn (as shown) or in a solid, or semi-solid.

While I designed these for my husband’s man feet, these socks can easily be made to fit a woman’s foot by simply going down a needle size (or two), and/or omitting some of the 2x2 ribbing on the back of the leg (just note omitting some of the back ribbing will affect the width of the heel flap and depth of the heel turn)

NOTE I wrote this pattern down as I made them, therefore it has not been tested yet. If you find any mistakes or have any questions, just let me know!
