All of our designs are named after Maine lakes or regions. Lake Saint George is a pristine body of water in Liberty, Maine, and is the inspiration for our August subscription offering.

We designed this as an introductory lace pattern, interspersing a simple four stitch repeat with rows of garter stitch. Not only do the garter rows provide structure and visual interest, but they also offer an easy place to rip back to, should the need arise.

This pattern was exclusive to Fiber of Maine subscribers until October 1. More info about our monthly Maine yarn subscription can be found on our website.
