Lakelet is a shawlette inspired by sitting on the dock at Squam Lake, watching the sun come up. The shawl begins at the corner with just a few stitches, and grows across the width of the shawlette until you finally reach a lace edging, which is worked with a small amount of contrasting yarn in a colour the shade of a cloud at sunrise.

The smallest size of the shawl uses 110g of the main colour and 25g of the contrast colour. Kits for the shawl featuring Kettle Yarn Co. Beyul yarn will be available soon.

The latest update for this pattern was sent out June 2018 and includes some extra rows on the border chart for clarity and a new chart showing how the original two charts fit together.
