In Seattle, we are surrounded by water, whether it be the Puget Sound, the Duwamish River, or the various lakes, big and small. This lace and garter wrap has a lace pattern inspired by the circular ripples and glints of light we see on the water, especially in summer.

Lakes to Sound by Destiny Itano is the Seattle Yarn knit pattern for the 2019 Puget Sound LYS Tour. It is a light and airy lace pattern knit on the bias to create a scarf with one skein, or a wider wrap with two
skeins.

Worked in a merino/cashmere/silk blend from
Indigodragonfly, it has a soft and luxurious feel. If substituting yarn, any fingering weight yarn with similar yardage will work; if you want a similar feel, a light and drapey blend is ideal.

This pattern has written instructions, with the lace pattern charted.
